Gene Rayle died about 1990

Gene Rayle lived on Prison Camp Road in the Sandy Ridge community, Colfax, NC, north of Greensboro.   An excellent checker player.  I have a 1986 Greensboro Tournament he played in.  He was a regular who played most Saturdays at Ira Pot's Service Station in Colfax.  It was tore down some years back.  Jim Nuckles, David Marshall, Dale Stacks, Ray Lyles, and others were usually there.
